Welcome to my streaming corner.
This is where stories flow, yarn grows, and sometimes… the fish steal the show.
I host casual streams where I knit, chat, and occasionally dive into the world of Guilty but maybe Not.
If you’re into calm vibes, real talk, and maybe the occasional book spoilerāyouāre in the right place.

Want to chat between streams? Ask questions? Share fish pics or blanket patterns?

This is where you’ll find the live stream when we’re broadcasting from the pond. Whether it’s a lazy afternoon, feeding time, or just peaceful koi gliding by, you’re welcome to drop in and enjoy the calm.
Tape It or Spray It
Some people say you need the best tools and the biggest budget to build something that lasts. I say ā not always.
When I built my pond, it was on a shoestring budget, patched together with patience, imagination, and whatever I could recycle. My brother Steven used to laugh and say I built things with āchewing gum and elastic.ā He wasnāt far wrong.
Between my constant redesigns and his ingenuity, we found ourselves relying on two simple allies:

- Duct tape ā for anything that moved when it shouldnāt.
- WD-40 ā for anything that didnāt move when it should.
It became a running joke, and like all good family jokes, it grew a life of its own. Before long, the tape and the can werenāt just tools ā they were characters in our story. Fighters. Rivals. Always squaring off by the pond, waiting to see whoād win.
So here they are, immortalized in one ridiculous but heartfelt image. A reminder that creativity doesnāt always come from having it all ā sometimes it comes from making do, laughing through it, and building something beautiful anyway.
š āIf it moves and it shouldnāt, tape it.
If it should and it doesnāt, spray it.ā
šæ The Great Pond Clarity Challenge ā Join the Guessing Game!
Photo Taken: 11 July 2025
Status: Fish moved in, algae stirred up, water turned cloudy.
Challenge: How long will it take to become crystal clear again?
The Story So Far:
We just introduced our fish to their newly rebuilt pond! They were clearly excited (and maybe a little dramatic) because the moment they swam in, the calm water turned into a swirling cloud of stirred-up algae and sediment.
But thatās nature, right? Things take time to settle. And now, we have a little challenge for you:
š How long do you think it will take before the pond is crystal clear?
Weāre talking clear enough to see the bottom and the fish gliding peacefully through the water. Not just better ā beautifully clear.
Take a look at the photo below and submit your best guess!

āDay 1: Right after the fish moved in and stirred up everything. Letās see how long it takes to settle!ā

Day Two
Ripples of Progress
Same angle, but somethingās shifting. The question is⦠whoās really paying attention? š
Drop your guess if you havenāt alreadyāor maybe you’d like to change your guess.
The fish are watching. š

š§ Pond Challenge: Day 3 ā Getting clearer!
So⦠24 hours? Nope.
48? Sorry.
3 days? Close, but still murky.
Compare this to Day 1āwe’re making real progress, but it’s not crystal yet.
⨠How much longer do you think itāll take?

šæ Pond Challenge ā Day 5 šæ
The waterās shifting, the fish are surfacing⦠but something else might be too. š
Today weāve got three questions for you:
1ļøā£ Can you tell which image is Day 4 and which is Day 5?
(Spoiler: theyāre not labelled, so donāt be too sureā¦)
2ļøā£ Do you notice anything a little⦠strange in the water?
Some folks say they see something. What do you see?
3ļøā£ And most importantly ā from todayās photo, how many more days do you think itāll take to reach crystal clarity?
šØļø Drop your guesses below!
Drop Your Guess Below:
Leave your name and the number of days you think it will take. If you’re right (or closest), you’ll get a shout-out and possibly a cheeky little prize. We might even let you name one of the fish! š
