Hello, and welcome to my little corner of the world. I’m Karleen Christopher—also known as AreKnel—a storyteller, streamer, dreamer, and lifelong nurturer of both people and ponds.

I’m a mother of four, grandmother to seven, and yes… already blessed to be a great-grandmother to two. My family has always been my anchor and my inspiration, and that love finds its way into everything I create.

After years of working as a live-in carer, I’ve traded long shifts for longer stories and quiet moments by the pond. These days, I spend my time rebuilding and caring for my koi and goldfish—some of which you might even spot on the live stream over on my streaming page. It’s a labour of love that reminds me to slow down and let the beauty of small things shine.

In 2025, I published my debut novel, Guilty but maybe Not—the first title in The Unheard Project. It’s a story about love, silence, and survival, and it explores what it means to carry someone else’s burden when the truth isn’t as simple as guilt or innocence.

Whether I’m crafting tales that explore justice and quiet strength, or simply sharing something that made me smile, AreKnel’s World is a place for connection, creation, and a little curiosity.
